AVALANCHE RETURNS
By popular demand John Mackay’s song-cycle “War Is An Avalanche” will be returning for one night only on Jun. 26th at Artworks Theatre. The show, based on letters from Anzac soldiers from Gallipoli, received rave reviews after its initial performance last Apr. 25th and there were many requests from people unable to attend that performance for another showing. It is a multi-media production with live band, singers, a narrator (Pat Urlich) and visuals. Julianne Evans, from the Gulf News, described the show as “a stunning piece of work; musically, emotionally, and creatively.’” Tickets are going fast so call 372-4292 to book.
